Everyone wants to live the perfect life.
Everyone wants to have an easy ride.
But I guarantee even the people that you think that have lived the perfect life or have been given the easy ride have been through the toughest things. Everyone’s problems are important, even if we might think ours trumps those of another. I’m getting off topic. I’m here to explain why I chose to name my blog “Stuck In Reality.” Dreams by definition is “an idea or vision that is created in your imagination and that is not real. –Merriam-Webster” Something that is not real. Think about that for a second. It seems that everyone has one reason or another for wishing for something they don’t already have. It’s human nature, we always want more and there never seems to be enough. I’m not just telling all of you to be content with what you have, no. If that were the case, then we would not be where we are today. We have become so progressive and innovative that there have been some inventions that have blown our mind. Being stuck in reality isn’t a bad thing.
What I mean when I say that I’m stuck in reality is that I’m learning from what reality has t0 show me. There are things everyday that we can learn from. My dad always says to me “learn from it.” And I’ve gotten so annoyed by those three words but it’s true. We need to learn from our actions or the actions of others. As much as I hate admitting that my dad is right, you’re right dad.
If this is the first post you’re reading and you’re wondering what this blog is about, then good timing. This blog is about what I think about, whether it’s random things that pop in my head or things that I think I can educate people on from my experiences.
*I’m not that experienced*
I also write it just to write it keeps my mind active and it’s enjoyable. I posted here about why I write, so go check it out.
I’ve got work to do, I wrote earlier today about what I had to do this week here so go check that out too lol. Shameless plug. Hope you enjoyed reading 403 words of what I have to say. Stay tuned for more posts. Here’s a picture of a part of my hometown, Tifton, GA.
